Junkenstein: Mechanical Arm Notes and Sketches

So below is a sketched out idea as to what I want for the mechanical arm that Junkrat has in the Junkenstein skin. To start off, I recently found a set of tutorials that will help SOOOOO much for anyone looking for a Junkrat cosplay, and here is the link. I'm mostly using the tutorials for the idea of how I'm going to be making the arm and tire, but due to the design differences in between Junkrat and Junkenstein, I'm not doing it step by step.

Anyway, here are the sketches and notes for Junkensteins Arm!

• a) single layer foam on glove
• b) rises at each finger
• c) I and II are shaped like rings and hot glued on
• d) ring connect on bottom
• e) thumb, self explanatory
• f) IV and V are seperate
• Page 2
• a) cardboard and wire base. goes on the forearm
• b) foam layer on top
• c) I and II glued on base, revealed under top layer
• d) paint I and II before adding top layer
• e) two layers of foam, paint dif colors
• f) top view will adjust in actual product
• g) two minor copies of elbow piece
• h) screw piece is just foam painted and glued on

• 1) Build base for arm from wire, tape, glue, and cardboard
• 2) cut out pieces of foam and place on base
• for hand, cut out pieces of foam and put on glove
• 3) plasti-dip arm and hand
• 4) paint and let dry
• 5) protective layer
• 6) shiney layer
